Welcome at the site of Robbert van der Steeg. I am a digital artist combining photography with art. Have a look at my work at this site, wich gives a good impression of my work.

For a living I make art on a personal assigmemt basis, just like the Old Masters did several centuries ago. Some people want to give someone that very special work for their birthday or any other occasion. Or you want to have a photo of your child in his or her favourite Lego space ship.

Everything is possible. If you have an idea or want to leave it up to me, please feel free to contact me, and we can see if we can work something out.

Two artists are a big inspiration to me: M.C. Escher and Salvador Dali. Both have a very distinct way of work an the combination of the two can really end in some remarkable work. Escher's work is fantasic, the way his art makes plays the mind is unmatched.

Dali is the greatest surrealist I believe. His work is very disticnt and since the digital area, it is possible to combine his work as well as Escher's work into a piece of art with the realism of a normally taken photo.
